Alicante Airport to Train Station
Alicante Airport doesn’t count with an own train station or a subway stop located at the Airport.
There is not a train option at Alicante Airport.
Passengers who wish to continue their trip by train may find a way to transfer to the nearest train station (Luceros) and tram station (Mercado).
Alicante is served by both train services, operated by the Spanish National Rail Company (RENFE), and by the TRAM, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), which serve several destinations within the Costa Blanca such as Benidorm and Denia, along with Alicante.
See below the available TRAM Lines:
- L1 – L3: Alicante (Luceros) – El Campello – Benidorm. See schedule
- L1 – L3 – L9: Alicante – El Campello – Benidorm – Denia. See schedule
- L2: Alicante (Luceros) – Universidad – Sant Vicent del Raspeig. See schedule
- L4: Alicante (Luceros) – Playa de San Juan (Pl. Coruña). See schedule
Operating hours: From 06:00h to 23:00h.
Alicante Train Terminal
Alicante Terminal, also known as Alacant Terminal, is the name of the stop of AVE Train in Alicante, the rapid train.
Bus Line C6 covers the distance between both locations. However, taxi and transfer are a good option too. You can check more information on how to get there at our transportation page.
How to get to Alicante from Alicante Airport by train?
According to your preferences, you can get to Luceros and Mercado by both taxi or bus.
Recommended route: Our recommendation is to take the C6 bus line, which connects Alicante Airport with both Luceros and Mercado stations. By this way, you will be able to get off at any of them, which makes fair easy to board either RENFE or TRAM (lines 1, 2, 3 and 4).
Opening hours: 24/7. Frequency: 20 minutes.
Location
C6 bus line stop is located at the second floor of Alicante Airport (Departures).
Fares
C6 bus line general fare: € 3,85.
For the TRAM and AVE train fares, please visit TRAM website and Renfe.
